ADLIVIA RX8 rotary drag car by Promaz

An evolution over the last couple of years, our Promaz Racing Mazda RX-8 "ADLIVIA" recently ran a personal best pass at the Brisbane Jamboree of 6.68 @ 202mph.

Our RX-8 is powered by a Promaz 13B Cosmo semi pp, bridge port race engine that features BilletPro front, centre and rear billet end plates for added strength and durability. A unique feature of these plates is the innovative locking mechanism of the removable cast iron insert.

There are many other custom CNC machined parts on this car including the electric water pump adapter and sump just to name a few.

Creating and controlling the boost is a large Garrett GTX55 turbocharger and Turbosmart wastegate. Methanol fuel is delivered via a mechanical fuel pump and governed via a Motec M150 engine management system. Simon shifts gears via a Liberty Equaliser clutch less transmission. Adlivia is a full chassis purpose built race car.
